Will charge pump current mismatch decrease SDM QuanNoise?

See one paper saying if charge pump current mismatch caused phase error is bigger than sigma delta modulator introduced phase error. Then sigma delta quantization noise will be less folded back so that quantization noise has less affect on the total PLL phase noise?
Is this idea working? Or we just need to decease charge pump current mismatch to minimize sigma delta noise folding as traditional method did.

what paper are you talking about?

Riley's paper as attached
I just read through that paper in some detail. My interpertation is that Riley is going through a budgeting process to allocate the noise sources from SDM quantization, charge pump mismatch, jitter, to meet an overall system design specification. There are explicit budget allocations for Noise Folding (Caused by Charge Pump nonlinearities) and Charge pump noise source.
I don't think I'd come to the conclusion that you came to about Noise folding and charge pump current noise.
