Beware that in GSM (due to delay reasons) you cannot be more than 35km far from the Base Station, doesn?t matter what antenna systems you are using.

But still not simple for me because this is my first experience on antenna.
When I try I got following results with a warning.
1900 MHz, 11 Elements, 12.293 dBd Estimated Gain
35.5 Degrees Horizontal Beam Width
37.3 Degrees Vertical Beam Width
1.25" Diameter, Metalic Boom with Bonded Elements. Boom Correction of -4.203 applied.

Then did some changes as the diameter of all RODs I like to be same to 0.124".
And got results.

Some fine adjustment (like metallic or non-metallic boom) that use this program, do not influence too much the characteristics.
Metallic boom means that the elements are going direct through the boom, with no isolation (this is the simplest way to build the antenna).
For boom correction take the default values of the program. For antenna hanging you can mount a bracket to the end (before reflector) or in the middle.
I remember that I build once a PCS Yagi using this program, and was working nice.

Can I use Square shaped Metalic Bonded BOOM and the Elements are going through it with same calculations on the page that actually calculating for circulated Boom, if I understand correct?
As far as I understand the Reflector is also Bonded and going through Boom?
DL6WU and ARRL designs ? which you recommend.
Can I use solid aluminum rods for both Elements and Boom?
Can I use other metals like stainless steel etc.
I am doing as the suggestd limitations but getting warning now!

I have seen a Yagi Antenna for about 1850-1990 MHz and about 12db gain but is quite bigger and the elements are about 0.5" in Diameter and the number of total elements are 11+1+1=13. Square Boom and Bonded through Elements. Any comments?
There is an impedance matching problem too 50/75 to 300 ohms and suggested solutions on the same site, can I remove Dipole and use simple drive element for the same?

-It is a small difference when using square shape instead circular shape for the boom, but not significant. You can go with square.
-Reflector is going also through the boom and is bonded.
-I would go for ARRL type. It works better in vertical position. (Don?t forget that you have to put the antenna in vertical position. All the BS antennas are vertical polarized).
-You can use aluminum for both, for elements and for boom (actually is recommended).
-As a driven element the best is to use a Folded Dipole:

In this way you can obtain the necessarily PCS bandwidth, that is ~140MHz.
-About parasitic elements I think the author is thinking to the nearby elements that affect the resonant frequency of the driven element.
Hello I am new to this forum,
I used the same website to design a TV antenna with the online program.
I replace the folder dipole with a standard dipole ( 2 rods with each wire connected to each rod ) and played around with the lengths until i got what i wanted.
being 1.9Ghz the 2 pieces of rod are most likely going to be around 37mm long each. I would start with 40mm long each and file half a "mm" off each rod until i got the best reception. I recommend you write down the each modification you do so that you go back over it to see what works and what doesn't.
To tell you the truth the antenna that is sitting on the roof of my house is a combination of a 538MHz Yagi and 210MHz yagi and it picks up digital TV 90kms form the transmitter in the frequency range of 177MHz to 226.5Mhz.
538Mhz director elements 210MHz Driver element and 177Mhz Reflector element.
So my advice to you is experiment, experiment it took me 2 months in the shed and on the roof to get what I wanted, you can to. Good luck.:D
