Hi,
I need to calculate dimensions to obtain a known value of inductance for a solenoidal coil wounded inductor. My problem is this: I've calculated by means of formulas the parameters of inductor for my value of L and then I've used NEC to create this solenoid but you can see that, in general, varying frequency the inductor changes its behaviour becoming also capacitive. So at my frequency of operation (434 MHz) I don't find the expected value given by the formula.
I'm searching a calculator that characterizes the inductance of the solenoid versus frequency. There's something like that somewhere?

Hi
Try field solver (for ex IE3D)
to simulate inductance if its geometry is known
