Need documents on improve 1dB compression
Hello wizardyhnr,
I hope the attached LNA document helps...

thanks, i do think the paper is helpful. besides, do you have more links to websites which are about RF design. i hink that my collection is few
I also have a simple question.
it is said in Lee's book that decreasing Q of input match will help in improving linearity. does it necessarily mean that if we use wide band match, liearity will get better?
i do not think so, in fact the main pressure is to improve the output 1dB compression point to 10dBm in my design. A shunt or series small resistor( such as 10 ohm) at the collector of the transistor would stable the lna, but decrease the linearity. That is why when i substitutes the ideal lumped inductor with real spiral inductor provided by the design kits in simulation, the 1dB compression point drops from 12dBm to 8.5dBm sharply. Many papers are concerned about improving IIP3 while theirs methods do little help to improving 1dB compression point. it is a problem i am facing now, quite bother me
