What does Vramp/Vapc mean in PA?

Usually Vramp is the control voltage for PA?s that works in burst mode (as GSM). It controls not only the amplitude of the output burst, but also the shape of the rising and falling edge of the output burst (to minimize the transient spectrum due to bursty mode).
This control voltage is generated by the baseband processor.
