Problem with antenna as it resets the handset and makes it current go up to 1.2A

Hi all
when I connect one kind of antenna to the handset,then power on,the handset
reset again and again,and the current of handset is up to 1.2A
But use other kind of antenna ,it is ok.
Idon't konw whether the handset is unmatched to that kind of antenna
Can somebody help me

Most likely you have a matching problem. First antenna activates SWR protection and switches off the transmitter.

I ask the supporter of the PA and transceiver,They said there are not and protection in theses ic,
is it true that some ic have protection circuit and how it know vswr is high and switch off the ic

Abnormal conditions can be detected by monitoring current consumption for example.

the current is up to 1.2A
something wrong with the handset
but i don't know what lead to this result
