Which paper I can read about Doppler radar?(hlp)

Hi all,

I'm new here, I have strong interesting to know the some knowledge about Doppler radar used for guard system.

I only know a little about this, this radar consist of oscillator, antenna and mixer, operating frequency is about 24GHz, it transmitt a 24GHz microwave signal with proper power to somebody, and receive reflected signal to mix with coupled transmitted signal to a lower frequency, according to Doppler frequency shift formula Flow=V/λ can confirm if somebody is move.

but I also hope more detailed papers about this, i also hope i know how to design these component and other important factor?
