How to find out whether an antenna matching network is tuned

Sorry, I am totally new to RF area.
I put a chip antenna on PCB and there is a matching network between it and the input pin of CC1000. What should I do to tune the matching network?

You need to measure the output power of the antenna and the reflected power of the antenna. these two values will help you to ascertain the antenna tuning performance of tuning network.

There are power RF power meters available to measure the output power and reflected power as well.

I can get spectrum analyzer and network analyzer around. Can they help in doing this? And how to?

I think you can use the Network Analyzer to tune the matching network at the first without mounting the chip antenna. Then you can testing the antenna with the NA.

The probem is not clear.
The connection maybe something like this.

Antenna---MatchingNetwork_A---X---MatchingNetwork_B---CC1000

The reason why I suppose two matcing networks is that "B" is required to
match CC1000 to 50 ohm, and "A" may be needed if the antenna is not
matched to 50 ohm. I am not sure whether Nicholas wants to test
network B or A.
1. If Nicholas wants to test B;
Break the connection at X and put the spectrum analyzer at X and put CC1000
in the TX mode and adjust the TX network for maximum output. Next, put
the CC1000 in the RX mode, and put your network analyzer at X and measure
S11 and adjust RX matching network. Reduce the power as low as possible.
2. If Nicholas wants to adjust network A,
Cut the connection at X, and put your network analyzer to look into the left
side of the network
Best bet will be by asking the "owner or administrator" of the network analyzer.
He/she must have good understanding.

The chip antenna is already matched to 50 ohm. So its the Matching Network_B I need to tune.
Kind of can't reach any specialist around me. If you could suggest some articles or books for me will be much much appreciated.
