array antenna at IMT 2000

hi..


i want to design the 2x2 array antenna at IMT 2000..

but..i'm confusing the antenna between array antenna, microstrip patch antenna,
phase array antenna and etc.

what is the different between them..

if i'm designing the 2x2 array antenna..what is i need to focus for..the problem statement, component, software, diagram and etc.
