How to do ask signal in ads...

DO u mean any way of summing signals in Digital design..or just ASK ?

i want to demodulate 915Mhz RFID ASK or OOK signal...
so i need to produce ASK(OOK) signal in ads,not to use AM_MODtuned...can i use mixer to produce signal? or any other way...

You can use "AM_ModTuned (AM Modulator, Tuned) " component with pulse input

for modulation.

This is a tuned modulator that selects the input harmonic defined by the specified Fnom frequency and amplitude modulates it by the baseband modulation input.


You can also use "VtRF_Pulse (Voltage Source, RF Pulse) " .

This RF pulse voltage source creates a pulse modulated RF carrier with optional frequency chirping. The carrier frequency at the start of the pulse is defined by the Freq parameter. For envelope simulation, the Freq parameter identifies the closest analysis frequency. If the frequency is not close enough to an analysis frequency, a warning is issued and the source output is set to zero for that analysis.

You can use a mixer as up-converter: in the port 1 you put a square wave at the modulation frequency (IF), in the port 2 you put the carrier (915 MHz in your case, RF). When you use a mixer you will find two signals, one at RF+IF and one at RF-IF. If the mixer is ideal you shouldn't see the carrier. You can remove one of them by a filter, if you need.
