power amplifier for bluetooth

hi all
i am desiging the power amplifer for bluetooth (2.4Ghz to 2.48Ghz)
since i am new in RF design => i need ur valuable suggestions.
actually the spec is given the output power 12dBm
and there is no spec is given for gain .
so what gain should I take in designing the PA.
and other spec is given like that.
1.gain control range=> 12 dB.
2.gain variation => -1.5Db to 1.5dB.
3.gain variation over frequency => -0.5dB to +1.5dB.
4.harmonic 2 attenuation=> -30dBc

i am not very understood the spec given in point 1 to 4.
plz elaborate these points any doc and pdf is available then plz let me know.

Take a look to this datasheet. The power is higher than yours but could give you an idea about specifications.
