What are the results associated with Balun used for converting unbalanced signal?

Hi,

What are the results that has to be associated with Balun when it is used to convert un-balanced signal to balanced antenna. How do i conform i am not loosing any information in this conversion process.



How do ve measure diffrential impedence, unbalanced impedence with EDA tools(port parameters).
