practical board

I am planning to design a VCO in pcb. Any books which deals with examples of such designs? I am designing a basic colpitts oscillator. I want details of making an inductor using the microstrip lines of pcb and capacitors i plan to do as surface mount components. I have the oscillator design but i want help in realising it in practical board, constraints on that etc.
