What is the difference between Broadside 1D antenna and End-Fire antenna?

max dir of radiation is along the axis of elements

and

end fire is one
in which
dir of max radiation is normal to line/axis of elements

Google should spew out a lot of graphical articles to clear this up for you.. its better to see a graphical representation rather than read about it..
