[HELP] Audio IC replacement

Dear all,

About audio amplifier NTE 7051, i don't understand the function of pin 5 (output 1)and 8 (output 2). Since it's a mono audio amplifier IC, why it has 2 outputs for the speaker?

Now, another important question. I went farnell online and try to by this IC, however it's no longer stocked. Is there any other audio amplifier IC that you can recommend to me?

The output is a bridge (push-pull) not referenced to ground so the speaker goes between the two output pins, not from output pin to ground

This ic looks to be made from original TDA2822M. It has different pin numbers & stereo input but bridgable. But the other specs r nearly similar. This means they must hv sourced this IC from sgs with some changes.

This is TDA7052 made by Philips.
