How to tap power from resonator of oscillator
Can any one tell me how to tap the resonator so that oscillator will oscillate at desired frequency.
I dont know how to decide tapping position.
I want to use coupled resonator for my design.
And a "resonator" means what to you?
Resonator means I am talking about microstrip resonator(lambada by 2 or lambada by 4) for frequency selection
A large number of VCOs use a less than quarterwave line, grounded at one end. At the "open" end there is a varactor diode attached in shunt. You couple into this with a series capacitor of small value.

Thanks
But my problem is very crictical
I have to design oscillator which turn ON & OFF for 1 ns duration.
The frequency of oscillation is 5.8GHz.
If u can suggest me what should I do to design this, I will be very happy
Good luck sport! You should investigate something called a "fet switch"
