i want to know whether there exists some algorithms to reduce the requirement of phase noise in rf design by processing baseband signal !?

well, I can't possibly tell you everything related to it...

but the impact of phase noise can be in many areas.

For high data rate QAM type systems, low frequency phase noise can be tracked out by the carrier recovery loop. This is one case of baseband "circuitry" affecting the vulnerability of a system to phase noise.

For narrowband receivers, phase noise can affect off-channel rejection (adjacent channel rejection for instance) by reciprocal mixing. Not much you can do about this...

for OFDM systems, low frequency phase noise is correlated across all carriers (low frequency = < subcarrier spacing).... so without much work you can presumably cancel out the low frequency phase noise components here (this is termed the "common phase error" in some literature. For the higher frequency phase noise in this case, it creates a form of inter-carrier-interference.

Ok, that's not everything, but it gives you some ideas you might not find in one spot presented this way.

Phase noise is the noise which comes into the picture when their is mixing of signals that is two or more signals.For ex:VCO is tested for phase noise but not the LNA so u can use this tip for further enhancing ur knowledge and let us know more about it after u gather it....

May be yes but I think it's very hard.

The basic motive is that usually an average should reduce the noise, but due to the 1/f nature of Phase Noise, as the number of averaging increase as the noise still remain constant.

So, nor average, integration, autocorrelation can increase S/N ratio.
