I am using Agilent's MGA-87563 for the design of S-Band LNA.
I made the evaluation board according to the datasheet and Application notes. The absolute maximum current rating is 6mA only. When I first tested some circuits, the current jumped to more than 60mA and burnt the IC. After some manipulations, I changed my evaluation board and then drove the MMIC. It worked well first but when I tried to test it second time even with Over Current Protection enabled from the supply, it got damaged again. It happened three times with me and I have now lost 13 ICs.
Can anybody tell me howmuch important is the ESD protection for this MMIC?
Or if someone has used this IC, please let me see his/her evaluation board with the Bill of Materials.

Beware that this MMIC needs input/output DC blocking capacitors.
