Problem with Clapp oscillator

Dag,
ik heb een probleem met de clapp oscillator, het werkt niet.Zijn de 2.2nF een goed kies ? Ik wil eventeel de cv met een varicap tuning capacitor veranderen om een Pll te gebruiken. Frequentie: 995khz tot 2155 khz

de fet is een BF245C

Remove the 8MΩ resistor then it should work. Make shure your drain choke is big enough. 1mH or so should be good.

the oscillator don't want to oscillate I removed the 8M and tryed another bf245c, choke of 1.9mH nothing. the inductor is a iron core self (transformer hf type)

Your oscillator has the Clapp?!

Try grounding the gate and making the source resistance lower. Use this with a series choke to ground for higher RF impedance. Try 220Ω + 1mH choke. You can also make the drain resistor larger like 3k

You have to try & modify circuit till you get oscillation.
Check biasing of your transistor.
Have u checked the data sheet?
TRY using resistance in Ohms insted of megaohm.
R u sing two different sources or single source?
Also use Radio frequency chokes(RFC) in Source as well as drain & gate while biasing.
Tell me if u have any other problem
