Urgent: c/n qpsk 16qam system

hi all!

I have to relate some way c/n and mer (modulation error ratio)
for system that uses qpsk or 16qam modulations.

Specifically I have to find a relationship between the two (C/N and MER) to
obtain thresholds values for a good QoS in DVB systems.

It is pretty urgent for me... Thanks in advance.
