What is the function of bias tee?

Does anyone know what is the function of bias tee?

A bias tee is used to copmbine DC and RF and at the same time to prevent the DC to go into the RF path and vica verse.

If you have an amplifier that where DC and RF go into the same port, then you would use a bias tee.

That's a correct definitions. Bias tees can be used for example to measure the s-parameters of a transistor while biasing it externally.
