balun in spectre
Does any one know how to design a balun using spectre . Any design notes or tutorials would be greatly appreciated.

You need to clarify a bit.
Spectre is a circuit simulator, not an Electro-Magnetic 2.5D or 3D simulator.
Spectre supports ideal inductors. If you're looking to model an inductor like the ones made on IC's, then you can go to the software forum and search for inductor. There are several programs that will spit out a planar inductor model for you.
If you're looking to model wire-wound inductors, I can't help you there. You should post a topic then that is more specific as to what you are looking for.
If what you are looking for is help with an EM simulator such as ASITIC, Momentum, etc... Then you might want to go into those forums and as there for help using those tools.
