Problem with a RF modulator setup

Hello..

just please understand my set up;

1. PC VGA card Svideo out to Video input of RF modulator with an Svideo-video converter cable

2.RF out of modulator to the TV

3.Now,whwn everytime i restart the PC or the TV the settings changes inside the TV and PC.I mean when the TV is turned on next time it says NO signal.Again i have to set the settings in the PC.

why is it so ?

PS:if i bypass the modulator and directly give the svideo-AV cable to the Tv ,it works fine.

any experts?

If you have S-video signal ALWAYS after restarting the PC, means is something with your RF modulator.

Probably the Local Oscillator of the modulator is not starting and is waiting for a different setting on video input.

Is the modulator DC supplied permanently, or only when the PC is ON?

No,it is always ON.It is not turned OFF when the PC is OFF.
or is th egraphics card of th ePc waiting for some acknowledgement from th emodulator,which the modulator is not giving,and the the PC couldnt detect the modulator or somehthing like that?

any clues?
