Hi, everyone. Has anyone designed the 60GHz antenna array before? I have some questions about it:
1) which types of the antenna will be suitable for such a high frequency, microstrip patch antenna, slot antenna, printed dipole antenna or something else?
2) which fabrication techniques should be used, PCB, Ceramic, or silicon microelectronics? What are their pros and cons.
Thanks.

Hi
I think Patch antenna array is useful.
See the paper on link below .

This will help you to understand.

But I cannot open this link. What is the name of this paper? Thank you very much!
Added after 1 minutes:
And any other materials about such array available?
Link is active I checked it
Thanks! I downloaded it just now.
i think patch antennas aren't useful in this case since their losses increas as you increase frequncy, i think reflector antennas are suitable
collin antenna book is helpful
regards
i also think patch would be best for it.
azam
u can use spiral array.......its use for high frequency
