The communication module is designed for machine to machine communication including PCS, CELL and GPS band.

The RF frontend is using Quintplexer solution connecting PCS tx and rx chain, CELL tx and rx chain, GPS rx chain and antenna, therefore totally 6 ports.

Right now I want to make simulation for Quintplexer module in ADS. If I got s6p file, I think the simulation resutls in ADS fro Quintplexer should be same as specification shows. However, the supplier only have s3p file for PCS and CELL band and s2p file for GPS band. Since VNA only have four ports, the measurement for each band is done under condition that other band ports are connected to 50ohms.

So my question is whether the combination of CELL s3p file, PCS s3p file and GPS s2p file could be comparable to s6p file for ADS simulation.
Since ADS have s6p data item, I don't know if s6p file could be measured in reality with VNA.

In real circuits, the Quintplexer is connected to different bands circuits. For example, If I want to check what impedance PA sees in CELL band, should I simulate the CELL Tx chain using CELL band s3p file without other bands circuits connected or using the combination of all bands sp files with all band circuits connected to the Quintplexer?

the issue here is , that band to band coupling will not be included , coz the S3p for the PCS and cell band only get the TX and RX and Antenna ports , and ignore the others

in most cases it is acceptable to use every S3P file to CEL in it is chain , and so on

i have done smehting linke this months ago ,
another solution , if u have time and tools , u can build ur own setup to get all the paramters in ur lab
as punch of s2p files , then combin them in big S6p file
don't forget u will have alot of files ,
