Dear All,
I'm designing a WCDMA mixer for ZIF Rx and i'm using the Micromixer topology as my lna is single ended..
I am simulating the linearity by using the QPAC and QPSS method and i made a parameteric sweep on LO amplitude (btw, it took a 1h 48 mins on 8 processor machine :)) ..
the problem is that the 1db cp enhances with the increase in the LO amplitude while the IIP3 gets worse with the increase of the LO amplitude till a point and then starts to increase ..
Can anybody give me an explanation for this?
Thanks alot in advance
(i'm using UMC 0.13 um tech all CMOS)

Check it under different loads or frequencies! IIP3 can vary within 10dB! btw use harmonic balance (cadence call it flexible balance or something like this) to get more precise results much faster.
