single antenna input ->> differential circuit in the I
Now, I need to design a transceiver which covers 3GHz - 5GHz frequency range. For the design, it is single input connection. However, the circuit is differential inside the chip. Could anyone suggest me that what kind of circuit could implement inside the chip to give out single-input and differential output? Or, what circuit implementation could give out similar performance?
Thanks

consider a balun.
Do you have some suggested paper for reference? Are you mean to construct the transformer?

just search on "balun" here and the web. You will find numerous references. Try IEEE and IEE as well.
Yes, a balun can help here. Just be careful with the impedance ratio of the balun to realize the impedance matching between single-end antenna terminal and differential circuit terminal.
At the beginning, it is suggested to use an off-chip balun for verification of the circuit. After that, you can try on-chip transformers (area-hungry and still hot for research) or active circuits to realize the transform function. I have seen several papers about the idea of using active circuits to make a transformer. Sorry I cannot remember their titles now. But I am sure if you search papers about differential LNA, you will get it.
