dsp vs microprocessor

DSP has more computation units than microprocessor. Most DSPs are Harward Architecture whereas most microprocessors are Von-nueman. Harward has at least two separate buses between data and instruction while Von-nueman share data and instruction on the same bus and, hence, it cannot process real-time data...
