Check my antenna design in HFSS
Here the hfss file thanks a lot.
Well, it would definitely help if you would have attached your hfss project file, instead of this IEEE paper.
I cnanged the file in the attachment.Thx
Hey guys plz help!there is an error and i dont know how to solve it!if there is anyone who use HFSS plz contact with me here the mail. I need help!
jakobianx@yahoo.com
it vil b useful if u send ur hfss file
Hi jakobianx!
I've taken a look at your file. There are lot of things which are not correct. like coaxial feed setup, feeding to patch/dielectric etc. Do you also upload the reference paper you are following? I can then tell you exactly what you should change.
i am sorry for reply late.here is the new hfss file and the text about the design.thx a lot for your help.
Hi shameemkabir
yes u are right i am new in HFSS so that i can do a lot of error in my desing if you help me i think we can solve them :D.i dont have a lot of knowledge about coaxial feed.i think i need help for that.thanks
Hi!
Your structure was quite alright at this moment I guess. However, some attention should be made on the following:
1. Your coaxial does not have any outer metal (common mistake generally made!)
2. Why do you need a patch? (there is nothing like that in the reference paper)
3. Why do you need a substrate? (nothing in ref. paper)
4. Since you do have radiation at the top and bottom you need a different airbox.
I've updated the structure a bit. Please take a look at the attached file. Since the reference paper used different software to simulate the design, there can be difference in results. It would be interesting if you can make the same simulation in a different software like CST.

Shameem
Hi Shameem,
Thanks for your advices and your help.i started last midterm to use the HFSS and also my teacher doesnt have much knowlegde about HFSS.The reason that i put the patch and substrate is that i just wonder how they change the design.
You leart me more important things like using coaxial probe and how i must draw it.Thanks i will try to draw the coaxial probe for other design too.thanks a lot.
But there is a quetion that i want to ask
1-why we used a lupmport instead of waveport if we use waveport will be any change in the results because the loss is different from expected loss
regards
jakobianx
