Topics for Masters Dissertation

I also posted this in the Analog IC forum, but perhaps I could get some more feedback from others if posted here:

I am interested in RFIC, perhaps someone that has experience could share some light on what some good research topics might be in terms of meaningfulness in industry today noting that the masters dissertation would be a commitment of a year and a half only.
