What do you mean original source? You think that Hope Microelectronics took the RF01 and RF02 chipsets from somebody else?

Hoperf is without doubt a semiconductor company that manufactures chips on their own. They say to cooperate with other ASIC design companies, may be the RF design was done externally. Or do you mean, there are similar designs from other companies?

I mean: Is HopeRF the original design and only company selling this ?. Is there a good clone ?. Does anybody know a low cost receiver chip (I do not mean the big names) I look for real low cost and if possible 1.8V - 3.6V chip low current !.
