fractal generation with hfss
I drew my four iteration Sierpinski fractal antenna manually in Ansoft Designer since it supports triangle object and HFSS doesn't. In HFSS you have to draw the triangle by joining three line segments.
It is easier to start drawing the triangles in Designer by sketching the fractal antenna in a paper and then calculate the coordinates manually.
You can parametrize your structure in HFSS and when you need to change for some reason , the whole structure will change immediatly
Could you tell me when you simulate your sierpinski fractal (triangle),how you deal with the connections(triangle's three angles) of parts of the antenna, points or something others? Somebody said that these connections looked like points ,but in fact should be little strips, or else there would be wrong current distribution. I need your help
