Help in designing Patch antenna over EBG by using IE3D

hai, i new guy here, currently i doing thesis in design patch antenna over EBG (electromagnetic band gap) by using IE3D. I had found some problem in designing EBG antenna, because the bandwidth dint increase. Do ur guys have example in IE3d in design the EBG antenna?
