Career growth for an antenna designer
Is their any career growth in the antenna designing. I have 2+ experience in the antenna designing. I has to leave my job due to some reasons. Can any one please provide me the growth in Antenna designing field.
Suggest any alternate field so that I can settle in my career.

Antennas are almost everyday re-invented, even if the basic dipole and monopole antennas were discovered more than a hundred years ago. Always is something that can be improved, adapted or modified to get new requirements.
There cannot be wireless systems without antennas.

I would like to change my career as PA designer, I have good knowledge in matching ckt designing ,power divider designing .
What are the other skills needed to be a good Power amplifier designer. Please suggest me the good books and software needed to achieve.

I would say yes! I am a microwave/system consultant, and I end up spending about 30% of my time on antenna designs for new products. It is VERY difficult to find innovative antenna designers out there! You can find plenty stuck-in-a-rut guys who reminesce about things they did 10 years ago on some radar system. try to find someone that can fit an electrically small antenna on a mobile commercial or consumer platform while maintaining tight electrical parameters, and you are going to be looking a long time!
I think the key is to work somewhere that is involved with modern systems. You do not want to take a job at some place designing backhaul microwave dishes! Work somewhere where there are location problems, mimo systems, gps/communication combinations, etc. That way, you can move around easily with your experience.
