SA615 mixer does not work!
(I used 3 ICs ,all have the same problem)
I loaded mixer output with 1.5Kohm resistor to GND.
did u check the oscillator is working or not ?
khouly
You should have very low signals on the input pins 1 and 2.... the mixer do isolate and you have an amplifier that buffers too. It seems you have something going on at the input. If the oscillator is running (which you state) make sure input is really hooked up like datasheet, and that you haven't shortcircuit any pin.
I have a 100mVp-p signal between PIN1-GND.(45.000MHZ)
I have about 100mVp-p signal between PIN3-GND.(44.545MHZ)
I have no sine wave at pin2 and pin4.
I used datasheet circuit at 45MHZ RF Input with 44.545 MHZ Crystal.
I am confused!
do you have pin 2 and 3 AC grounded. this is capacitors C5 C6 in the application diagram
pin2 is 100N and is AC grounded.
Pin4 is osc transistor base and is grounded through crystal ,there is not signal for PIN4 at scope with 20mV/Div(in AC mode)
It seems we have signals at both inputs but we do not have any mixed signal in output(no 455KHz)!
