phase array antenna

how can i increase the gain of antenna ....i hv designed a microstrip patch antenna and array of microstrip antennas in HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator).....after simulting i got sme results ...but gain of array is very small ...
can any 1 tell me how can i increase the gain
