in pozar book page no 318 V2=V3=1/2V1 is given
s21=1/2 ok
s31=1/2 ok
s23=1/2 how it is?
s21=1/2 ok
s31=1/2 ok
s23=1/2 how it is?
Say each resistor is 16 ohms.
Zo=50 ohms
Vrms =1V
I(total) = Vrms/Zo = 1/50
I(total) will flow through the first resistor and split through the next 2, I(half).
Voltage across the first resistor=16/I(total)
Votage across the next 2 = 16 / I(half).
So 1/50 = .02A
Vr1= .02A*16=.32
Vr2= .01A*16=.16
Vr3= .01A*16=.16
=.32+.16 = .48V
Since the circuit is symetrical this works out in every direction.
