[IE3D] when i want to make a hole on finite metal plane...

Designing a structure in IE3D, sometimes I need to make a blank hole on finite metal plane.
In that case i make that struture by adding all piece of polygon. Too tedious work... I wanna find a simpler method than what I've did. I think... There is a solutioin in IE3D!
When overlapped polygon condition, one pop-up message happen.
But non of dicision make effect on structue in my visual viewpoint.
I attached my pop-up message situation which i try to a 50mmx50mm hole on 100mmx100mm metal plane.
Please answer me about this~~ especially Mr. Jian.
