whAt is it?

Hello All.
I have the picture of Rf amplifier attached below. And some miscrostrips are covered and i don't know what is it. Anybody could help to understand what is it? What was it done for?

That is provision for matching network with lumped components (capacitor here).

in the days before CAD programs it was common to have these transmission lines on the input and output of a transistor. You would cut and try shunt capacitors of different values and locations to sort of optimize the performance.
