Help for designing a patch antenna

I am trying to design a patch antenna with an U shaped patch and W shaped ground plane. Can anyone help me with the equations for finding the dimensions of a patch antenna with air as subsrate.

as vfone mentioned to you (in your other post below) there really arent 'equations' that guide you in design of such things. i think best you experiment with a typical 1/2 wavelength patch and add the modifications you're thinking of to see their impact.
