How to design a compact wide-band power divider?

时间:04-09 整理:3721RD 点击:
I need to design a 1 to 4 power divider from 0.5GHz-6.5GHz. I tried Wilkinson divider using microstrip on RF-60A (Er=6.15, H=1.52). With 4 stages I can meet the specifications. However, the size would be extremely large. Hopefully the length of power divider will not exceed 20 mm :D

Anyone could give me some suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I want to know.

Hi

Depending on your power requirement, you should use lumped elements. Especially if your requirement is that it should be very compact.

Regards

u design in stripline configuration..i hope u will get compact size with wide bandwidth

i need a widespread microstrip power divider

Lumped up to 6GHz ...
I think not good idea
only 20mm you have max?!?!?!?

H=1.52mm or inch!?!?!?

If it's mm you can reduce your H to 32mil (1.52mm=62mil app)
then w of microstrip will be tight.
Also try to inrease Er to 9 for example the λ/4 will be short
of course during layout try to make snakes
also may be you can do it multilayer (4 layer for instance)

There are techniques with loaded capacitor to reduce the art work.
