questions about UWB transmitter design

Have anyone designed the IR-UWB transmitter? And most of the transmiitter structures constitute inverters and a amplifier for driving. They seem easy. But I think there must be many problems existing during the design process. Could anyone point out some problems worth noticing. Thanks very much!
