Hi all,
does anyone know any manufacturer of impedance converters. I need to design a TV amplifier for a receiver and somedoby told me that impedance converters might be a solution. My initial approach was to use a LNA but it′s hard to find a transistor that meets the 3rd order intermodulation requirement of 60dB for an input power of 100dBuV.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

If you're stuck with intermod, your signal probably isn't that small and you can ask yourself whether you really need a very low noise amplifiers. Perhaps a (linear) commercial CATV line amplifier is good enough.
Are talking about converting a 50 Ohm LNA to 75 ohm's output for Cable TV?
You can use a resistor pad, but you will loose power or maybe a transformer 1:1.5.
I think it's like min loss to go from 50 ->75 Ohms is 5.7dB
