10M Cable for Equipment

Dear all,

May i know what's the usage for the 10M Cable that needed to connect at the back of any equipment with any "external trigger"?

Please advice.

Maybe you want to say 10MHz reference. The reason of this reference is to synchronize and lock all the equipments in the lab with a stable signal.
