Wireless remote control
This remote control transmits signal to be received by light and fan.
I was wondering if the Radio Transmitter - TLP434A from futurlec would be compatible with PIC16F628?
Hi,
Do you have the circuit to build this remote controller, I also need this, please share. thanks
If it is for short distances, you can use an InfraRed diode in the transmitter and a phototransistor in the receiver.
An alternative solution for receivers is to use TSOP17 receiver modules. Those are special IR receivers that can detect IR light with a specific blinking frequency.
All the parts mentioned are cheap and available in the market.

You may use TLP modules with any microcontroller provided the micro is programmed to do the said job. For controlling the lights and fans, you may encode the data generated from the PIC on to the transmitters data pin and when you receive the same from the receiver, you need to decode the same to operate the said appliance.
You may use Ht12E and D to get a momentary output which can be then connected to Flip Flops to latch a relay
Or Program any microcontroller to do the said job. Optionally you may use IR too as you get ample of commercial remotes in the market and just need to program a receiver.
You may have a look at www.united77.com/projects.htm for all the three kits mentioned above. Good luck
