IR remote control in high temperature environment

Hi, I am doing a project to develop a storage heater. The customer recently require to add a remote control feature to the heater, I am wondering if the high temperature of the heater would affect the IR signal. The temperature could reach 105C / 85C depending on the position of IR remote control module.

Does anyone has experience or information on this issue?
