Lumped delay line

Anyone have any experience with lumped element delay lines or slow wave structures. I am at 24 GHz. I need 2-3 nS of delay, and a meander 50 ohm line is too lossy for me.

There is the trick of capacitively loading the line with little perpendicular fingers. That way it is shorter and therefore less loss.
