Help required for designing broadband antenna in MF band

Hi, i am imran and working on designing a broadband antenna in MF band (300 to 3000KHz), pls if anyone is having any reference material related to the topic do provide me or guide me as soon as possible.

a 30metre length of wire suspended from a tree is an excellent broadband antenna
over that freq range.

ok ask again and be a bit more specific

1) do you need a gain antenna ? at those freqs it would be huge dimensions
2) is it for transmit ? or receive only ? or both ?

Thanks for the advice, actually i am very new in this field but that i know that the dimensions will be huge like 160m or so. I need to design a transmitting gain antenna, pls correct me if am wrong and if any relevant stuff is available that will be of great help. I have also found that Log Periodic antennas can also provide us coverage in MF as well as lower HF bands?
