Rotating planar shape in CST to make 3d object

Hey guys, I want to rotate a fixed shape around to form a 3d solid shape. How can that be done? I know there is a means of rotating around a fixed 'path', and that path can be circular, however what i really want to do is rotate it around its vertical axis to form a 3d shape.
