sinuous antenna
The attached .ppt file is a piece of my thesis, I upload this in response to some requests,
good luck
Hi KMPA,please change your file into .rar format and re-upload it.
Hi can anyone help on the design of the balun for a sinuous or spiral antenna. I would like to design and simulate in HFSS.
I'm also interested in that kind of antenna, not necessary a sinuos one, but an spiral. Specially interested in broadband baluns. Any Idea?
yes, this topics is pretty interesting

Hi KMPA, do you have the autolisp file which can upload, I am interesting in your topics. Thanks
yup, i am also searching for the autolisp file. Remember seeing it in one of the post, but after going through the search, i don't seem to see it.
hi all you should go to these links:

jafargholi, it appears that those links are no longer working...
yeah unfortunately those links are no longer working but in them there are usuful articles and simulation files for beginner
I have found Corzine's book useful in the past when working with spiral antennas:
R.G. Corzine, J.A. Mosko,"Four-Arm Spiral Antennas," Artech House, 1990.
I have not used this reference but it looked like it might be helpful as well:
Corzine, J.A. Mosko, "Integrated Spiral Antenna and Printed Circuit Balun ...". Searches on either author will provide additional references.
hi
Azulykit
do you have the file of this book? if you have please upload it!
regards
Unfortunately no, I just have the old fashioned kind on paper. Actually I much prefer those.
thankyou very much
I am interested in that kind of antenna, I want to know the gain of this kind of antenna could be greater than3dB or not
spec. of this ant.
also see this patent, it was very very important in my work.
but in this patent there was some equations miss-typed (printed with some factors missed) but i correct these equations in my thesis.
regards
hi yuanboshybshyb
yeah in lower frequencies the antenna gain is about -2 to -3 dBi while for higher frequencies it is increased to 5 dBi.

dear Aya2002
i desigend and implemented this antenna two years ago. are you implemented it? if yes, what did you do for feeding network and 180 hybrid?
In Iraq there is no possibility for implementation
thanks
oh ok! so are you simulated the feeding network. i saw your thesis, in your thesis you only presented the Duhamel approach for hybrid and couplers. are you could find any other approach for it?
